Your beauty products could all be high-end designer, you could love drugstore makeup, or you could be a mixture of both. I know I love both high end mascaras and drugstore ones, but I prefer designer lipstick. It doesn't matter what you choose! I love all kinds of lip gloss, no matter what the brand.
Here's a list of 5 lip glosses under $10 that are truly steals. Your lips and purse will be thanking you!
#5: Revlon ColorStay Mineral Lipglaze
For a little under $10, you can buy this wonderful lip gloss that contains minerals and is similar to a stay-on lipstick, but without the annoying top coat. It doesn't dry out lips too bad, but it would be best to condition and exfoliate lips before wearing this, as it pronounces lip lines. It lasts for hours and hours through drinking, eating and talking. My favorite shade to wear is Top Tomato, a bold pink-red.
#4: Almay Pure Blends Lip Gloss Color
95.8% all natural, and only $8! This lip gloss isn't that pigmented, I wear this when I want a sheer tint with lots of gloss. It hydrates your lips with ingredients like papaya and jojoba. It lasts for a reasonably long time, but keep it in your purse for touch-ups. The color spreads evenly but you'll need a mirror to apply it perfectly. I like all the colors, but try Nude for a barely there shimmer.
#3: Maybelline ShinyLicious
Are you ready to meet the sweetest smelling lip gloss ever? Here it is! Maybelline ShinyLicious gives super shiny coverage, perfect for day or night and smells delicious, for around $7. It doesn't lasts as long as other lip glosses, but the shine and color is great. It doesn't dry out your lips, and it tastes nice too! But please don't eat it. I recommend Jam 'n' Jelly, it's the perfect purple-red shade that smells nice. Mmmm...
#2: L'Oreal Glam Shine Sorbet
Almost above the $10 mark, this nearly made #1...but it didn't because of the price. I love how this lip gloss moisturizes my lips but still has a lovely rich color. The glitter is sparkly, and it will plump up your lips, but not much, maybe around 5%. The applicator is soft but a bit weak, it might bend. The Glam Shine collection comes in Sorbet, Holographic or 6 Hours and can cost $9 to $11, depending on the store. Wear the shade Tickled Pink for a sweet, girly pink.
#1: Rimmel Volume Booster Lip Gloss
This is my all time favorite lip gloss under $10!
So this is more a plumper and lip gloss, but I rate it more as a lip gloss because of the AMAZING COLOR! It's glittery, but not in the 4 year old girl way, the glitter isn't that noticeable. It makes lips very shiny, almost glassy. You can build up the color, it's very pigmented but you could wear it sheer or strong. It's a bit sticky, but I find that a lot of the Rimmel glosses are. My favorite color is Provoke, a gorgeous fuchsia - you can buy this for $6 to $7.
There you have my 5 under $10 favorite lip glosses. You can save heaps of money finding products that work just as well as department store brands. You can find some really fantastic lip glosses under $10, this is just a tiny list!
